It could be something as innocuous as peanuts, but if you have an allergy to peanuts, they could kill you.Your boyfriend needs to grow up, he probably likes alcohol and was hoping that you would like it too so that you could drink together. The substance is not the point here however, it's the forcing of something without permission that's at issue here. He is probably just immature, but it is worrisome that he isn't looking out for your best interests.
