At his age, it's possible he will change his mind. If he was saying this aged about 25, then you'd be in a bit of trouble. Men need more time to mature and such than women. I think you can afford to stay with him.

You're both very young and it's extremely possible it will change. I wouldn't break up with him at such a young age over this. That said, if by the time he hits say, 22, 23, 24, whatever age you want to start thinking about these thing, he still is dead set on never getting married or having kids, ever, you should move on. If you want these things and he doesn't you will never be able to be together happily.
