I don't know any marine personally but from what you see in movies ,training for the marines is no picnic,in fact it's very draining both physically and psychologically. Then ,whether he says it or not, he may be worried about his new life in the marine corps, how he will adjust, will he be good enough, etc. etc. So it would make sense he is not in a sexual mood now.
If you plan to continue the relationship, and if there are not been in the recent past any unresolved issues or pending misunderstandings between you, I think all you can do is being patient and giving him time to get his grove back.

Perhaps, he is too exhausted mentally and physically and have no juice left to give it to you .
Or he could be under some sort of pressure and stress in the marine corps.
Wait until the training is over and see if there is a change in his behaviour.

I would hazard a guess that his training regime for the marine core is physically punishing so it may affect his sex drive. Professional sports people are sometimes advised not to have sex before a big event or competition. I suggest that you be patient with him until the end of his training period. I think you should also ask him if there is anything wrong as communication is the key to solving these sorts of problems.
