A age 41-50, anonymous writes:

About 2 months ago I told my 1st cousin how I have wanted to have sex with her for a long time now and actually gave me a rush when I told her that I do in fact jack off thinking about her. Then I heard myself bluntly ask her if she would have sex with me tonight. "I would never cheat on my bf" my cousin said to me. hmm, Nothing at all about us being cousins or anything, so that got me thinking....

But then I find out that she told the family I asked to have sex with her and she asked me via e-mail to not contact her anymore. Why would she tell her friends and our family????

A female reader, Tisha-1 United States +, writes (12 May 2010):

Tisha-1 agony auntBecause you were rude, thoughtless, making unwanted sexual advances and frankly a bit disgusting. That's why. She didn't need to say, 'ew you're my cousin' because she was so shocked that you'd just propositioned her in a very crude way. After the shock had cleared, she realized that you needed to be told in no uncertain terms that she is not interested. Maybe she thought she was doing everyone a favor, to let them know that you've got some inappropriate thoughts regarding sex, relatives and how to put the two together.

How old are you? Are you really in your 30s? Because this sounds more like a teenager with a serious lack of self-control and lack of awareness as to how his actions and words affect others.

Apologize profusely to everyone and keep your head down. Have you learned anything from this?
