He told her to stop and that he had a girlfriend. She recently has been telling people that they are dating and he and I are not together anymore. I love him but this really hurts me what do I do?

 If your boyfriend hasn't done anything to encourage her behavior, then I suggest you hire a lawyer and send him to ask this woman to stop. That should be enough.
