Time to get out of the business with him. and out of his life (or rather him out of yours) If he lies about this? He will lie about anything. If his lips move....

For a tiny (relatively speaking) amount you have learned that the man you love is a liar, a thief and a cheat. Fortunately you learned this before house, children and joint bank account entered the picture. Write it off, and from now on completely ignore his existence and find someone who deserves you.

Do you have the paperwork to proove he "pocketed" the sale into his account? Deposit Statements are a beautiful thing to proove in court.
I am not sure how it is done in the U.K., but the next time you mix a relationship with business, have a bank account with BOTH your names on it,Business Name, and type up a business receipt with BOTH your names on it!
Get the proof and put it somewhere safe. (Not where you live)
Next, tell him you have proof that he cheated you out of the sale. He needs to make good on the agreement.
If he doesnt, kick him out of your life, get a new biz partner, and take his bum to court!
Best Wishes.

Dump the boyfriend. No emotional discussions. No explanations. No arguments. Just an email saying it's over, then block and delete him. Don't wait for him to respond.
