He is probably hitting your cervix, so try postion with shallower penetration, not doggy style. Or just ask him not to put it in so far, he should beable to do this.
Try this shallow position, you lay on back legs slightly open, while he enters you, lower your legs to the bed and close them, he then moves his legs to the outside of each of your legs, this is shallow, yet he still gets stimulation along all of his shaft as it passes your thighs and clitoral area (nice for you too)Enjoy, experiment!

Pops isn't right, I'm afraid. Of course a woman's vagina is able to accommodate a baby's head but that is width not length! Some men can be very long which can hit the cervix and hurt as a result. This could be what you are experiencing. The average sized penis is 5-6 inches when erect but men obviously vary around this. Apparently the largest recorded penis when erect is 11 inches.
Use lubricant, take it slowly, go for positions where deep penetration is less likely such as you on top, sometimes he could not enter you fully but still enjoy the experience.
There isn't any harm in what is happening but you do need to be very relaxed so make sure there is plenty of foreplay and lots of lubrication.
Have fun!

There is no harm in it just make sure you are well lubricated before you start having sex, it will get better. The average penis size can be anything between six to eight inches but sizes vary

There is no average size. Men and women grow different heights, not only because of genetics, but because of diet, health, emotional well being, etc. Within different races and ethnic groups, there are variations of all kinds. If you are a mature female, your body is designed so that a baby can be born through your birth canal. There is enough room to fit a baby's head, and body. Unless he is a freak, you boyfriend's penis is not too large to fit, too. YOu do have to learn to relax your PC muscles, and this will not happen over night. Use lots of lube, and go very slow. He should not expect to fully penetrate you until you both have made love many times. Love making involves training muscles, like any other physical skill. It takes correct practice to be good, but its well worth the effort. Have fun.
