writes: Hi everyone.I'm 15 and I've been with my boyfriend for a year and a half who's just turned 16 I've come to grips to the fact that he's not the jealous type. This kind of bothers me because I definitely am. When I get upset over little things like text to girls with kisses on he doesn't understand why it makes me jealous! Anyway, One of his childhood friends who is 18 is also a close friend of mine and we used to have parties on a regular basis, all of us. But about 3 weeks ago this friend text me asking "what would you say if I told you I like you?" I text back that I would say that I am in a relationship with your childhood friend and to let the crush go. He apologized and everything went back to normal until 2 days later when he asked me what I was up to. I don't like ignoring people and was in the bath so I text back cant speak right now in the bath. On any other day he would text back "k talk later xxx" but this time started texting very graphic and disturbing text of what he wanted to do to me! I was shocked! I ignored every other text I received from him. The next day I showed my bf the text and he wasn't at all fazed by them I told him I would block my friend if he wanted and he replied "why would you do that he's our friend?" I don't understand why he doesn't want to rip his head of! If anything would get him jealous it would be this, does he just not care anymore? We met up more recently for my bf's b-day and we were all socialising as if it never happened. I'm over it now and sometimes text him but not nearly as much as we used to. It still bothers me that my bf doesn't care when guys hit on me in public or ask for my phone number right in front of him. I know he cares about me because he tells me all the time but how can I get him to be more protective???Thanks for your help. :3

Seems like this is something that you should talk to him about! If he doesn't show any signs of jealousy, manipulating him to make him feel jealous over you would only result in more drama, I think. In the meantime, just disregard the childhood friend! Howevver, if you're really bothered, tell your parents about the graphic texts, or even block him on your phone. I know my cell phone can do that, but I don't know about yours...
