writes: BF writing me explicit porn. I'm in a new relationship, like 6-7 months now, but he's in the service far away, so we write to each other. Lately he's started giving me really, really detailed information about the size of his penis, how he is when he has sex, etc., and he's also written some very explicit pornographic descriptions of what he wants to do with me (we've not yet had sex). He sent me a photo of a woman with huge breasts just barely hidden by a blouse and told me he wanted me to take a picture like that. I find it really upsetting. I feel like maybe he's using me to get off since he's deployed right now and has few options. I'm about to write off the whole relationship, but before I do, I wanted to get the male point of view on this. What would make a man write obscene stuff to a woman he says he is in love with?

I would just tell him straight out what you think and feel on this matter.
Tell him you thought it inappropriate to rely on such means to express his thoughts and that you really hope he sees you as more than some object to satisfy his lusts.
In his mind, he may honestly believe this is acceptable and wanted. You get to clue him into what reality with you and him is.
If he doesn't like what he has to say and chooses to end it; at least you know he was definitely not intune with what you want and expect in a gentleman.
Best Wishes.
