writes: hiya, i have been best mates with this girl for 3 and a half yrs and we get on really well and have a laugh. but this all ended when she started dating this boy. she has left me on my own for hours standing in the cold because she is to busy with him and she cant see she is doing this. i wish they would just finish and everything would go back to normal because i feel really lonely and low, atm.what do you think i should do i have already told her how i feel about him and that i feel she is ignoring me and she says she is doing nothing wrong?am i over reacting and what should i do:(?

Hi, Its always difficult when romance comes between friends. it sounds like your friend is in the first flush of love and only has time for him. maybe you will experience a relationship like that in time too. If you have already told her how you feel then you may just have to accept that she isnt a "best" friend anymore. you may need to increase your circle of friends,rather than become too attached to just one. It may be in time she will come back to you for friendhip and support and you can stil be friends, but in the meantime dont let this take over your life.best wishes
