 I think that if your friend had an idea that you liked this guy and went out of her way to brag to you that he hit on her, she is obviously not a true friend.
Surround yourself with people that will be there for you and make you a better person. My motto is I rather have 5 true friends then 20 fake ones!!!!!

At 13-15, which I presume is your age, a lot of girls do this to eachother. A boy should never ever ruin your friendship, and this was immature of her to do. I am glad you told her to get off the subject of him, that was a good move on your part. If she continues to be rude and attempt to make you jealous like this, I would re-evaluate the friendship. You don't need people like that in your life. Good luck.
