writes:I'm eighteen and my best friend and I had sex a year ago. Ever since then things have been extremely awkward between us. He is in love with me and I'm not sure about how I feel about him. Some people even think that he might be gay, but he says that he isn't (to further complicate things). I just need to know what I should do to make things go back to normal or to move things forward to a more intimate relationship where we can at least talk about what happened between us. Help!

 he is your best friend, just talk to him! best friends know each other better than they know themselves... he probably knows all of this is going through your head but doesn't know how to bring it out into the open either. so just take a deep breath and talk things out!
