My baby only has his top canines! Is this normal?

A female Trinidad and Tobago age 36-40, *09a writes:

my baby has his two bottom incisors and instead of cutting the top incisors he is cutting the top canines...is this normal?

CindyCares agony aunt Generally babies will cut their top incisors between 8 and 10 months of age, and top canines between 16 and 24 months.

But it's very individual, there are plenty of exceptions to the general rule.

ladyjaye agony aunttheres no gurantee on which teeth will come first when it comes to teeth!! if it is causing discomfort then consider taking him to the dentist just to put your mind at ease... hope this helps!! gud luk!!
