Think of where you want to be in life, when all is said and done with in school. Can you achieve that without good marks?
At your age, school is a long, tedious process that seems to have no like at the end of the tunnel.
Try making short term goals. Save a pound a day for shopping or the like, but make a caveat that you cannot spend the money unless you receive your good grades. Tell yourself that the first Saturday of the month will be a shopping day, only if your teachers attest that you did well the whole month.
I know it sounds silly, but you need to look at the short term to make school bearable. And remember, life by the inch is a cinch, life by the yard is hard. If you can do it a little each night, and study a little every weekend, then you won't have to cram the night before a test.
