You look at the list of things most women have, at least once in their life, wanted in a man being rich tops that list and for a lot of women it still tops that list, along with certain body type, attractiveness, personality etc.
I know a lot of people like to say money can't buy you love, it can't but it certainly opens up far more doors than not having money. Hell just having a stable career is essential for most women to even consider a man as a partner.
If you're asking your question in the sense of a guy who is choosing his career over his partner, then that's not about money. That's about success, drive and the need to obtain enough to live the life he wants. If his relationship suffers for that then it is up to the partner to make him see that.

 Obviously not. Simply because that there is absolutely nothing in the world about which "all men " think and feel the same way.
I would be curious though to know what prompted your questions. Because more often are in fact the women who are accused to value financial security and material posssions over love...

 I'd have to say its often the other way round...
People are complicated creatures who are motivated by different factors at various points in time. I have known men who have been hopeless romantics as well as others who have been very mercenary indeed. On the balance of it though most men I've known would give a greater weightage to love.
