Fatherly Advice agony auntShy,

I'm in your age range, so I guess I can understand why you ask. We've tried several, with varying degrees of success. Most of the products available are meant to be applied to the clitoris, and are some form of chemical irritant. Since my wife prefers a g-spot orgasm, those don't do much for her. She finds most of them irritating, they seem to be more distraction than help. We like more gentle varieties, when we do use these.

We did find one that is used inside the vagina, that one she is more likely to want.

Overall, I would say that the women who like these the best are having trouble reaching orgasm, or are having unsatisfactory orgasms. These gels can help get things going down there. There are two other things that are probably more important and more effective.

One, blood flow to the pelvis. As we get older, and in my case overweight, it is harder to get proper blood flow to the pelvic region. Sitting in a car, or plane all day is not going to help. Just like sitting at a desk. What you both need to do, is exercise the large muscles in your legs. Experts recommend leg presses. Personally, I find them as ineffective as the older recommendation of doing deep knee bends. You simply can't do enough of them to work. What has been working is long brisk walks. I would plan to spend a full hour walking, and covering 2 to 3 miles. Lately I have been swimming for about a half hour. Swimming laps, not just fooling around in the pool. This has been getting me similar results. The exercise can be done hours before going to bed.

Second it is important to note that orgasm really occurs between the ears and not between the legs. If everything is functioning properly physically. Then you should focus on the emotional aspects. Fortunately, a hour walk with her could work on this level as well. The important thing is to turn off the cell phones and talk. Make sure she knows that she is the center of your attention. Focus the getaway on romance, not just getting to bed.

There is so much that could be written here. I'm glad that you are still reading at this point, as I have already posted too much. In conclusion, I would recommend trying the arousing gel before the getaway rather than making it the focus of the trip. Some times it just doesn't work, and then you are off to the showers to wash it off and wait for it to damp down.

Feel free to private message me for specific brand recommendations, if you want.

Yes, cold ones increase the sensitivity of the erogenous zones. They seem to work particularly well on breast, and also clitoris.
