He's turned off his phone and not answering any messages I've sent him, as we usually message every day and I have no idea when or if I'm going to see him again- this is horrible...I don't know what to do- I'm really worried :(

Lots of time military guys disappear for weeks at a time. It is nothing to worry about - get used to it. It's just how the military is. He may be going out for a training exercise, someplace remote or not allowed to make calls.
Don't fret yet!! I'm sure he's fine and will be in contact when he can. Good luck, sweet!

It depends entirely on why he's away. If it's training, he may have had to turn it off. Do you know why he went away?

It depends where he was going for a week. If it was for training, then there are certain programs that take their phone and lock it up for the next 2 weeks of training. (that happened to my husband) Or it's possible he isn't getting signal in the area he is in..that also happens quite a bit. Give it a while, to the end of the week and if he doesn't contact you try again.
