melschatbox agony auntWEll, to me that's offensive to you as his wife. Certain behaviors should be solely for your significant other. Yes, winking is one of them. That's flirtatious to me. And, rude. It's also not very suttle. It's out there, right in the open, where everybody can see this behavior. Yuck! My husband wouldn't wink at another female...

Sorry,

eyeswideopen agony auntI'd tell him to knock it off, and that it makes him look stupid and makes you uncomfortable. I think winking is so infantile.

I would say something to him. If he doesn't know that it's upseting you, you need to say something to him.

I would be upset if my husband was doing this, he must have a reason for it.

I'd probably be more sarcastic in asking him something along the lines of "is there something wrong with you eye?" When he responds normally with "no, why?" you say "because your always winking at 'so&so'"

I can never help myself with saying things like that, do talk to him though find out what's going on. How long has he known this women?

Please let us know the outcome. Good luck.

TasteofIndia agony auntPersonally, if my husband was a general winker, I'd be okay with it. If the winks weren't exclusive to one woman, I'd be alright. It would be his "thing". Sort of... old fashioned, smooth guy cute.

But one woman imparticular? That's weird. Unless she's the waitress at the diner that you go to absolutely every day - no fail. That's the exception. But if it's just some woman who he's always winkking at... that's a little fishy. And I'd be a little bothered.Talk to him about it. Just be casual about it, because there could be a fine explanation. I don't think it necessarily means he's cheating.

Anyhow, that's what I've got for you.

Talk to your husband. Ask him, "what's up with the winking?".
