Think of 'making love' not just 'sex'. To be able to do this, both sides need to know each other first, and it will be hardly done by just one date. Well..unless you've known this guy since you're 3 or something. Even so, you knew him like a friend, not a lover. So, from my POV, first date should not end with sex.

Hello Well, i Would Say if him/her really liked the guy
and that someone had seen him around before, i think it would be ok to on the first date its not like its hurting anyone. But at the end off the day we dont no how boys think, but i think it might give them the impression that, it would be easier to get him/her into bed , or the him/her wants to. xx

Making out on a first date is tacky. A quick kiss on the cheek when saying goodbye, maybe, but but a full fledge make out session is cheap.

Sometimes when the chemistry is there, you just can't ignore it.
I wouldn't personally, unless it was someone who I had known previously. If it's a blind date, or someone you just met last weekend, I might tone things down a little bit.

I think a man would see making out on a first date aas you being easy but my partner said he wouldn't see it as you making out.
How long have you known this guy to whether or not its a good idea?
