I said a few nasty things to him before we split but that was just because I was trying to hide my feelings. He changed his mind 3 times as to whether or not he wants me to do the next contract (after rehersing together), and after I tried to reason with him he told me he hates me and would be happy if never saw me again. At a recent performance he was also there, he didn't say hello but then I made the first move and hugged him he hugged me back and said that I looked good. I kept on catching him looking at me at the corner of his eye. Do you think it is safe to ask for my job back? Or if it isn't what can I do to make him want to work with me?

What he has done is illegal and you could take him to court over it. He is stopping you from keeping your job for personal reasons. Maybe seek the help of a workers union and ask what the best steps are. Best wishesx
