A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

well ill try my best to explain this very complicated matter here:

well, i first liked this guy, a red-head, all-american, totally original and classy. and we would talk all the time! ppl would ask if we were best friends or something. and his friend, who is a hispanic, cool, almost completely the opposite of him, knew i liked him. i dont know how maybe a sixth sense boys have or somethin. (lets rewind: at the beginning of the year, he liked me and tried to catch my attention. but i wuz sooo aborbed in his friend that i completely ignored him) anyway, his friend stopped talking to him and went on with his life. then, on valentines day, i waz positive that he would ask me out, but he ignored me the whole day, which felt extremely weird. ever since, he replaced me wit a more popular, fake girl. Now, im starting to see how nice his friend is so i start talking to him more. Now he seems happier and makes more jokes in class, etc. so thats a dead givaway. but i always catch red-head staring at me from the far distance he always is. but i think hes really starting to forget about me. (i tested this theory: plastic-girl dropped her pencil case and red-head was the first to pick it up. the next day, idropped my books and he just walked by.) all my friends say i should just concentrate on his friend instead but i cant walk away from him. should i fight for him? should i forget about him? should i tell him how i feel? idk but something about us just clicked a long time ago and i think hes trying to pull himself away because im not as fake as my replacement. i really miss him.

Danielepew agony auntRedhead is into the other girl, so don't try. And the Hispanic guy deserves better than being a piece in a game. If you don't really like him, let him go. Don't use him.
