A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Recently I've had this dream about a teacher of mine...Who I have strong feelings for. Before you say anything, I am NOT like other girls. I'm doing the right thing by actually trying to get over him. Why? Because I know if that if we had gotten together, it would be a huge mistake. I've got plans for my life, which would make it difficult for us to be together.

So, i already know that it won't work.

I still love him, but at least I'm not thinking of ways to seduce him. But i still have dreams about him.

In this dream I was with him, and some other guy.

I was sitting on the floor, and he was laying on the floor with the guy. He started straddling him, and even kissed him. Which is odd, because he isn't gay. Also, in real life, he's married and has a baby.

Then he went up to me, leaning in for a kiss and I remember thinking "What is he doing? I can't do this! It's wrong!" But I just closed my eyes, and enjoyed it. I could hear him breathing heavily. And he broke the kiss. I was simply in shock, but I went up to my teacher and kissed him again. Then he just broke the kiss, like he thought it was wrong too. He just turned away from me.

Just out of curiousity, what does this dream mean?

A female reader, Lily Moll United States +, writes (11 May 2008):

It sounds like wish fulfillment. You can't be with him in real life, but in your dreams, the two of you can kiss. It also reiterates the fact that the both of you know that you can't be together, since this reality intruded even in your dream. The part about him kissing another man isn't clear to me, but it seems kind of like your mind announcing that it's a fantasy, that anything that happens there isn't real. The part about hearing him breathing heavily is just one of those delicious details that your dream provided to make it seem more real, and more rewarding.
