So my question to you all, has this ever happened? An undetected pregnancy, or a pregnancy with very minimal symptoms? I appreciate any feedback!! :) Reply to this Question Share |

Congratulations ! ! You are so lucky they say women with irregular periods can sometimes have difficulty getting pregnant. Have you seen the (I didn't know I was Pregnant)show on TLC? Its a real life programme about women who had no clue they were pregnant and carried the baby to full term no big belly, no symptoms nothing at all ! They deliver the babies at home, don't even make it to the hospital to give birth. If you have never seen it you should check it out. Good luck

I have 2 children, and both pregnancies were totally different. With my first, I had incredible nausea starting around the time I missed my first period, breast tenderness that started around my 3rd month, and every other "minor inconvenience of pregnancy" (as my doctor called it, lol).
With my second, the only symptoms were the missed periods and the weight gain. I've never felt better in my life.
So a lot of what everyone thinks of as "pregnancy symptoms" are pretty variable--there's not necessarily any rhyme or reason to them, and you may not experience something just because you think you should.
It will help if you talk to a doctor or midwife--the earlier you begin prenatal care the healthier your baby will be.

My mum didnt find out until she was 7 months. She didnt have a belly bump or anything, her periods continued and she went to the doctors because she felt something moving around her tummy, haha. Anyway it turned out she was 7 months pregnant. So yes it can happen.

I am not sure I understand what you say, if you took 2 pregnancy tests then you must have had an idea you could be pregnant, skipped your periods or have bled in a different time and quantity than usual, nobody takes pg tests just for the fun of it.If you want to know if there are pregnancies without the usual symptoms, nausea, breast tenderness, etc., yes, a few lucky ones get to skip that part. Not usual, but it happens.

Yeah, it happened to me :o)I was four months along when I confirmed it. For me, I had stopped taking the pill and had to wait for my next period so I could start birth control shots after my next cycle. Well it seemed like it was taking forever for my next period to start, so I called the dr and they said it could be delayed while my body readjusted to no pill. We were using condoms this whole time. Except *one* drunken time lol Well, I kept waiting like a fool for my period. I think I was in a bit of denial!! We were 22 and not planning to get pg yet. So my hubby got suspicious and boought a pg test and made me take it...positive. And I was 4 mos along by the time I went to the dr :o). He just turned 15 this March!!It was fun to tell the story hahaha! But yes, it can happen...Congratulations!!
