We have sex about 5 times a week and great sex, but just before he's ready to "cum" pardon the language, he pulls out and finishes up himself. We talked about this, I thought it was maybe he was scared of me getting pregnant (I am on the pill, and we've never had a SCARE) but he tells me that it just feels better that way. Is that true, is there a chance that doing this just does feel better?? Or do you think like me, do you think he has fears he's not talking about? Oh we're not teens, I'm 31 and he's 32, not sure if that makes any difference.

 To some it does feel better to finish outside, instead of inside. It could be so there's no wet drainage on the sheets, especially if it's his side of the bed. I'd believe him if he says he likes it that way. If you like it internally, I'd talk to him about that. Out of 5 times a week, there's room to alternate to please you both. I'd have to agree too. Even though your on the pill, you can still get pregnant. I know many people who have been on birth control, and were surprised.

No birth control is foolproof. Maybe he doesn't want to chance that you or the pharmacy has made a mistake. This gives him some control.

 Hmmm...Im thinking it could be a couple things. None of them have to do with you so dont feel weird.
The somewhat silly but first thought is he just likes to see himself cum on you. Maybe its from watching too much porn or somthing. Its somthing I dont dig myself but I can see how another guy might get off on it.
The next thought is that he has gotten into a pattern of needing to finish the job himself because of masterbating often. Maybe he is struggling with those last moments and goes back to what he knows. Again Im just speculating here.
You said that theres nothing to worry about because your on the pill but this may not be enough for him. Some guys are real nervous about unwanted pregnancy. Its a healthy concern but I do recall another similar question where the guy just couldnt deal with cuming inside his girl because of fear.
