Now you want to know WHY he is so worried, and I can't answer that, only he can.
He either wants you and thinks you are teasing or he does not want you/can't have you (like there is a girlfriend of his or a boyfriend of yours) and doesn't want to get involved or something that only God and him know.
Ask him.
