writes:Confusing situation. I have been living in a rural rental property for acouple of years. At the beginning I developed a bit of a crush on my landlord. He said he was single but I think as soon as he started to see that I liked him he mentioned this long distance girlfriend but then mentioned that he did not know how that would turn out. I decided he was a player and that I should Keep things professional.I have noted that on the rare occasions his girlfriend comes here to visit she is less than friendly which makes me wonder what he has told her. I have also noted that he really comes on strong right before she visits. Now I have been on holiday for three weeks and predictably I get a call that he wants to check on this and that. I am thinking that he likes the security of his long distance girlfriend while he gets ego boosts from other women. I find it a little insulting. Friends think he may have à crush on me. He was married for twenty six years and left his wife for crurent girlfriend. Might he like me or is he a player?

 He is a player because he lied to you as he lied to his wife and his long distance girlfriend. He can be a player and still like you, but in a limited way.
