writes: Hi everyoneI have been seeing my bf for bout 8 months although the first 6 were long distanceMy prob is i suffer with panic attacks and i have been doing really well recently and not had one in over a monthWhat kicks off my attacks is not hearing from my guy (if i send him a text and dont get a reply) I know this is silly but its the way i am Over the last month i relaxed a lot and stopped panicking so much but now the panicks are back and try as i might i dont seem to be able to control themLast week i got sick and had a few days off work During that time my panic attacks have started to come back Im gutted as I was doing so well tooThey started when i was just before i was not feeling well and i ended up totally freaking out when my guy didnt reply to me Now its carried on and although im feeling better im still panicking (i text him this morning and still no reply)I spent the whole weekend with my guy and had such a great time I dont know if because of that im missing him more or something but i feel totally heart broken and cant stop crying I even made a point of saying to him last night text me tommrow as it will make me smile when i gotta go back to work I text him this morning but nothing yet I hate feeling like this and thought i was over it I just wanna relax again but dont seem to be able to I hate the feeling of being dependant on someone and having no controlSorry to go off on one but im just at a loss of what to do I thought i was over thisI keep thinking back to the weekend wishing i was back there and im crying so much dont know how im gonna get thru work todayI just wanna hear from him so bad

First of all, congratulations on managing to get a better hold of your panic attacks.
About your question: maybe you should try calling instead of texting him. Not only would you get instant reply, but you would hear his voice as a bonus and there is less chance of misconception when you can hear a person say something as opposed to when you just read what they wrote.
