Hi everyone. I am 14 and I got my first period in December. Most were on time but I haven't had a period in 4 months. Is this normal or should I be worried (I have no had any form of sex or sexual acts)?

BlondeBabe x agony auntI agree with emily answers it could be something to do with your weight.

When you first start your period its really irregular and will take a couple of yrs to become regular, or sometimes you may just have a irregular period.

Dont worry about if you worry and are stressed it may even take longer to come.

Take Care x

I'm going to slightly disagree with Bugs.

4 months could be perfectly normal but it could also be a sign that your body is missing something.

Girls often have their periods stop when they are underweight. Is that you?

Eat healthily and have lots of fruit / veg / multi-vitamins and then if that doesn't work then perhaps go to see a doctor just to check everything is ok.

Good Luck!! xx

The first periods are never regular. So its perfectly fine. Please have pomegranates regularly in your diet. one per day is fine. They are good for the uterus. They help the periods to be regular too.I am not sure what's in them. This is what my mom did for me.Smile please! As long as you have not had sex, everything else can be handled.Do not stress yourself.stress plays a vital role in our hormones.During my grade exams I didn't get them for 5 months. No I never did anything wrong either. If you are worried please ask your mom to take you to a gynecologist.Take care.
