Buy your "The Joy of Sex" it gives good advice on techniques..
Remember one thing ....the first time is always awkward, even with a new partner, you need to get to know each others responses, that only comes with experience.
Try not to get too hung up on getting it right first time, no-one does!
The important thing is your considerate to each other, and learn each others likes and dislikes.
You may climax before her first time, or like me, I was so stressed about doing it right, I didn't ejaculate at all

Tell her that you are a virgin if you have not already, she will understand and help you through it. You could do plently of masterbation and foreplay to try to last longer and to satisfy your girl friend

Start with lots of foreplay. Finger her until she is almost climaxing and then begin to have sex. This way her body will be ready to recieve you and if you don't last long then she will still have felt pleasure. It is natural for a man to come quickly during his first time, but if you wear an extra-safe condom then this should help you last a little longer. You could also masterbate about four hours before you have sex. This will help you last longer also.If during sex you feel as though you are about to come and you don't think she is satisfied yet then ask her if she would like you to finger her more.Good luck
