Hi, I'm 13 and never kissed, danced, or been out with any guy but my friend has never been out with a guy either so she text this guy she liked asking if he wanted to go to the cinema (they haven't been yet). So that's wot I think u should do, but don't watch anything that is boring but something that maybe u will get tears in ur eyes so he can cuddle and then he should get the point that u want to go out with him then ta da ur boyfriend and girlfriend x hope it goes well x

This sort of situation is daunting for anyone, so don't think you're alone in feeling scared of rejection! It doesn't matter what age you are, just walking up to a guy you fancy and asking straight out is quite hard for most of us..
You could always try inviting a small group to meet up and go for lunch somewhere, takes the pressure off of one on one, and you can see if he takes any special interest in you! What about email? Is he on facebook? We're more inclined to be more honest out our feelings if they're typed rather than spoken, so you could contact him online perhaps?
