Was the blood brown like dried period blood or more of a pink colour? If you are concerned, a pg test would be v accurate right now. See the doctor if you have any concerns.

Have you taken a pregnancy test? That is the thing to do, before you start getting upset about anything.
And as for drinking / bleeding ... babies are surprisingly tough, and very small at the start. Lots and lots of women have drunk in early pregnancy as they didn't know they were pregnant - me too. As soon as I knew, I stopped, but still. Actually, after being pregnant for about 10 days each time I didn't feel like drinking at all, and naturally stopped. Anyhow, the point is, no, drinking won't have done anything, and the bleeding could have been implantation, or it could have been the odd spotting that women sometimes get when pregnant. I had three times when there was a bit of blood when I was pregnant with my daughter, who is now 19 months, and everything was perfectly fine. So don't worry. And if you are 17 days late then obviously something is going on - most likely you are pregnant, so go and do that test NOW!!! It will be fine. Forget about the drinking - you can't change it now, and if you are pregnant still then everything is ok. Just never drink anything else when pregnant.

If you're worried at all, go to the doctor.
