writes:I dont get aroused or excited by my boyfriend of eight years we have a five year old son and it seems the enchantment to be next to him and the need for sexual gratification has become harder to deal with because I always want it but not from him. i love him and I am his best friend to hang out with like one of the guys I dont understand where the excitement for him physically went. Please some advice, should I stay or should I leave? I dont know if I even wrong for thinking this and whether other people have dealt with my situation

Perhaps the problem is that you have become too used to him, and need to address issues in your relationship. If you're spending too much time with him as a friend and not a woman, then you're naturally going to see him more as a friend. Time to spend time together as a couple again. Maybe you just need to get to know him once more, enjoy evenings out and such. You're both just becoming a little too used to each other, so instead of being one of the guys, be that sex kitten again and go out with him as a couple.
