Thinking about it, I never really thought about what I would do when kissing someone, I kinda just went along with it.
Here's some tips...
1. Stay relaxed before the kiss- Its okay to feel nervous, but the more relaxed you are the better it will feel.
2. Don't dive into a kiss- Look into her eyes, and to hint you want to kiss her (although you will do this sub consciously) look at her lips and back at her eyes, slowly lick your lips to dampen them.
3. Lean in slowly- If a guy just jumps at a girl it can spoil the moment and freak them out, especially on the first kiss. Slowly move your face towards hers, don't go all the way, let her come closer to see if she wants to kiss.
4. Close your mouth!- don't go in with an open mouth! slowly move towards her with a closed mouth, but move your lips out slightly and touch hers. Hold for a few seconds.
5. Pull back to see her reaction- If she's smiling go in slowly again,this time do the same as last time but open your mouth slightly.
6. If you want to use tongues...- Lick her bottom lip very lightly, and try and meet her tongue, don't push it though, lick her tongue gently and let her do the same.
Remember, it's your first make-out, you don't want to rush it, take it step by step... Also you don't have to use the advice I have given above, you can just try it your own way and go with the flow like I did. Never hurt me :)

 Its really simple, if you relax and dont think to much into it everything will be fine :)
It all pretty much comes naturaly, and even if you start of not brilliant you will get better with practise.
Basicaly to get from kissing to making out, all you gotta do is softy take your tongue out and then touch the middle part of her lips(you know the parting bit)and if she wants it she will open her mouth and then you just put your tongue in to touch hers. It depends how expirienced this girl is, if she has made out with someone before then you can follow her lead, but if its someone in the same position as you then she will be as worried about it as you so dont worry about it, just move your tongue around a bit, softly though! Dont be too vigerous with your tongue :)
