 Maybe you should let him ejaculate first on the abdomen. From your question about how fast it comes out, I get the feeling you might not have actually seen a man ejaculate before. You can perform oral sex but finish him with your hand - it'll still feel good to him - and maybe take away one of the unknowns that is scaring you. You'll be able get an idea of how fast and how much, even (if you want), taste a little bit.Also, I'd ask him to tell you when he's on the verge of ejaculating. Try to relax into the experience, taking your time to kiss, suck and lick... but if it helps you swallow as fast as you can when he cums. Yet don't just pull off as soon as he comes.  I'll add a bit more. There is no reason that you must swallow all the cum your first time, or several times. Not a good idea. After the porn movie "Deep Throat" was popular about 1970 or so, many girls wanted to try giving head. It was easier for them to suck up until the point of squirting, maybe swallow the first squirt or two, then let the remaining ejaculation coat their face or titties.
You will probably be more comfortable just "tasting" some sperm the first few times. You should probably not even try to take a full load right away. Give some hand jobs a few times, and slurp some of the juice off the tip after he releases. He will enjoy that and you may as well.

 That STD screen is the most important thing first before you go ahead and do this, you dont want to put your health at risk by doing something nice for him!
Now I personally have a very sensitive gag reflex and I dont particularly enjoy giving blow jobs or swallowing (but it can be nice with the right guy). I really dont like the taste or texture of it - it makes me feel pretty sick. But dont let that scare you - there are ways of making it less nasty!
First of all, get your boyfriend to pleasure himself earlier in the day (or the night before if thats all that is possible) as this will reduce the amount of semen. If he has let it build up for days then there will be a lot and it wont be nice for you, so ideally he will of got rid of some of it that day (and a couple of days before too!)
Secondly, have a drink and tissues next to you ready for afterwards. The drink will help wash it down and remove any taste left in your mouth. The tissues are in case you really dont like it and need to get rid of it.
It wont ooze out of your mouth as long as he doesnt have too much semen stored up, and it is probably best if you dont try and deep throat it otherwise you may end up gagging and then it will come back out of your mouth! With regards to the speed, this varies and you will never be fully prepared. The best thing to do is for him to let you know just before he is ready, so that way you wont be taken by suprise.
It is not that bad and you do get used to it after a few times. The key for me is controlling the amount that he produces - a smaller amount makes it so much better!

Usually it does shoot kinda fast into your mouth but I have learned that it depends on the guy. However fast it shoots elsewhere is how fast it will be in your mouth. I have never had it come out of my mouth while trying to swallow, I dont think there is enough for that. I believe its only a couple of teaspoons worth of liquid. Dont overthink that fact that you are swallowing, just do it. You may gag at first but he wont be bothered by that, and that reflex lessens with time.  there is no way of telling how much, how fast or in what direction it'll happen as every time can be different - if your worried about gagging or choking, let him give you an indication wen he's about to cum so you'll not be taken by surprise - also, get him to eat a lot of pineapple and pineapple juice, it makes it taste better and doesnt mar the whole experience with a bad taste :)
