 Just be honest.
It is scary sometimes to do this, but your honesty will go much farther to strengthen your relationship as friends or as more.
Find the time to speak to her in private, make sure its in person, and just tell her that, for the past while, you have had genuine feelings for her that were of a more romantic nature.
I would also come prepared to ask the question: would you like to go out on a date with me?
Don't be afraid of rejection either. Sometimes, things are not meant to be.
