You can start provoking him to get kissed, by gently rubbing your hand around him and looking in to his eyes. Hold hands and say sweet things like "I love you" or "I wish it was just the 2 of us." About the whole hiding from your parents and friends,just say you need some help with the food or ask him if you can have a talk in private.

 well i think that kissing for the first time is a big deal it might not seem ig but as you said it is i suggest that you wait to see if he kisses you if he really likes you then he will but if he doesnt it will probably is because he is thinkin the same thing you are will she freak out if i kiss her so i would deffinatley let him know you want to kiss him

 Maybe don't kiss him if people are there. He may be really shy or embarassed. Kissing someone for the first time is a big step and so doing it publicly may not be appropriate. What signs are there that he may like you too? If you think he does but are still scared, maybe you could wait for the right time and just go right ahead & ask him if it's ok to kiss him.
