A female reader, Lia United Kingdom +, writes (23 March 2007):

Lia agony auntIt's not easy to relax because you want to be with him all the time - yep we've all been (or currently are) there!

But the thing to remember is that the tighter you hold something, the quicker it slips your grasp. Guys also like to be the ones who chase and do the hunting. You mentioned it's still early days (you've only been dating 2 weeks), so it's still that time in the relationship when a girl can and should play it cool. OKay, so you wanna know how? I'd say try not to call or text message him too much, let it be that you give him a chance to initiate contact. Also focus on your other interests (even though it might be tough); don't let him occupy your mind every minute; spend time with friends and simply have a good time. It's when we're carefree and fun to be around (instead of clingy) that guys are more drawn to us!
