writes: I'm really confused..i met this lad *ryan in a club on my birthday weekend..i knew who he was but didnt know him to talk 2..we started talking on msn and it kind of kiked of from there. he met me and my m8z a week after my birthday and ended up staying at my house (nothing happened)..he sed he lyked me nd we keep meeting up and stuf but i dont know what he wants..its been three months know and i dont know if i'm wasteing my time. i've only ever liked one other person like this and i ended up gettin hurt..the thing is one of his friends asked me why i've hung on and waited so long for one lad but i couldn't answer him..i dont know why i cant just leave and meet someone else..it nearly finished once because i wasnt being myself with him..i'm quite loud but i was realy shy..he likes loud girls..i was devistated when i thought i'd ruinind my chance but he stayed around..we arent even seein eachother but i still stay around..i need help..why cant i just walk away and find someone else..please help me..x

I know exactly how you feel. Same thing is happening to me except i've been "seeing" this guy for a year now! If you want my advice, i say get out now. He hasn't stepped up to the plate now, he prolly isnt going to and is going to let time go by more and more without thinking he ever has to step up. Dudes will get away with whatever you let them. So unless you tell him, " look, i like you, you said you like me, what are we going to do about it?" ur never going to get an answer. And i know thats the hardest part. Because its been a year and i STILL havent gotten the guts to ask this guy were we stand. I dont think hes ever gonna make me his girl because he's getting the perks of being my guy without the title, which they love. Ask him how he feels. Tell him how u feel. And the worst that can happen is he sais he doesnt wanna be in a relationship with u. Thats better than him leading u on forever and u hoping that one day ya'll be together. The best way to get over him is to find someone else. So while ur waiting on him to get it together, be on the lookout for a guy who already has it together and in no time, u'll look that old dude and say "what was i thinking!?" Hope this helps!

i wouldnt give up if i were you, i'v liked a guy for over a year now and nothing has happened...but i cant just forget about him because i like him too much!!! Not that i can talk too much because im always too shy to make the first move, but maybe this is what you need to do? Invite him over again maybe? or to something casual with friends aswell? Quietly let him know your interested by smiling at him looking into his eyes when you talk...and heopefully he will get a hint (unlike the guy i like!!) ALso remember always be yourself no matter what. xx
