One time we used a condom the other time we didnt but I didnt orgasm (i pretended that I did) just to get it over and done with. Now she is claiming she is pregnant by me. I dont see how this is possible seeing that I used a condom the first time and second time i didnt come inside her. I'm sure its another guys or she's lying. I'm too scared to tell her that it cant be mine cos she will think I'm weird for faking an orgasm.

reader, anonymous, writes (28 October 2009): i agree with others, you can say 'it cant possibly be mine' all you like, but the truth of the matter is... yes it is possible and like what every1s said, pre-cum will cause pregnancy and so do condoms (occasionally when theres an error) , accidents do happen!
get a peternity test done , if you cant get it done on the nhs ( i dont think you can ), and dont have the money, then the other alternative....go on the jeremy kyle show lmao.
But seriously, yes you could very well be a parent soon, so the choice is yours, either trust her word and be there for your supposed unborn baby and her, or ignore the fact you COULD have a child until babys born and get the peternity.
Personally, depending on whether shes likely to lie or not,itd be a good thing for you to be there. id just have it out with her first, is it yours or has she slept with someone else?? then its your call, be there or not. But be a man about it , not a silly child, if its yours then be there, if it aint then dont go rubbin it in her face, not a nice thing to do.

It cant possibly be *mine*.
You just mean you think it is unlikely that it is yours. You can look up the failure rate for condoms to find out to your horror how many couples get pregnant using them.
Or you can check out the components of precum, which does contain sperm. There was a recent study released on the effectiveness of the "pullout" method, which is essentially what you used. It is about as effective as condoms- which is to say between 5%-10% chance of pregnancy.
So it could very easily be yours.
In the future try to date only people that you like enough that having a child with them wouldnt be a calamity.
The next step is going to be some sort of paternity testing. Get it done responsibly and then live by the results.

Sperm can be in what is known as pre-cum. This is a liquid that comes out well before you've ejaculated. So it could be yours. There's only one way to be sure, and that's a DNA test. You may have to do it quietly though, because if it is yours and she finds out you've doubted her, you'll have hell to pay. And please also remember that if it's yours, he/she will need a good, loving Dad.

reader, anonymous, writes (28 October 2009): I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it is possible to get pregnant without ejaculation. I googled it, and one article said pulling out before ejaculation is 81% effective - as in, not 100% effective. You could ask for a paternity test just to be sure.
If you are upset at the news, i doubt she is any happier, as it appears she will be a single mother.
A lesson to all -- ALWAYS use a condom.
