Most of the time it happens after not having sex for a while or stoping the use of condoms. There are a lot of reasons it happens and as far as i know there isn't a fix all cure. Mine went away after a few weeks and has not returned 6 years later but we haven't had sex in almost a year.... I was pregnant and he didn't want to have sex .... so i'm a little worried. Anyway, do some research or have her call her doctor.

I wouldn't think that would be the problem.
It may basically be that your not having enough foreplay which naturally lubricates your partner.
Next time you have sex try and have at least ten minutes foreplay and see if this makes any difference. If not I would suggest seeing a GP.
Hope this helps and good luck.

Sounds like either an infection or not enough lubrication.
For the first she should definitly see a doctor, the second can be caused by a lot of things. Quickest way to test is to try it with a lube, some condoms come with it and you can also buy it from most chemists.
If lots of lube don't help, see a doctor.

Oh! Remember aswell that condoms are the only thing that protect against STI/STD's. If there's any chance either of you could have anything that could be causing this problem (or if there's any chance at all of having anything) please do get tested by a doctor or clinic.

I'm not sure if the fact that she was a coil could be a problem, but it is best for her to get herself checked out by her GP or at a free clinic to make sure nothing seriously bad is going on.
It could just be that after awhile it gets a bit 'dry' and 'rough', often if it lasts to long it can cause too much friction - if you think 'dryness' is the problem you can try using extra lubricant. Also try a different position to what you normally use when it burns - see if the position is the problem. Try being more gentle.
If the problem continues i'm afraid a doctor is the only person who can really provide more insight into it.
I hope things work out,
Best wishes,
