reader, anonymous, writes (10 July 2007): Viagra is just a catalyst to get and maintain your erection. Unless that's the reason you can't have sex as long as you want, Viagra will just be an expensive placebo for you.
The problem is more likely you climax faster than you want. If that's the case, you can change some of your habits when having sex to make it last longer. The easiest thing of all is to stop before you orgasm, wait a few minutes, and then go at it again. Something else you can do is pinch (very gently) the head of your penis. It HURTS but the momentary distraction will reduce your excitement enough so that you can continue having sex without orgasming too soon.

From what I've heard, Viagra only means risks for men with cardiovascular disease, and it's unlikely you'll have any cardiovascular condition at your age. I would check with a doctor, just in case. I knew a girl who reportedly died of heart disease at 18. And she was a volleyball player.
Now, I'm not sure whether Viagra helps you last longer. I'm afraid it doesn't.
However, I do know a friend who was using it though he didn't need it, and he did find it useful. It had no real effect on him, but his wife thought it did, and that conviction alone improved their sex life.
