I've come to terms with all of this and I'm okay in myself at the moment. I've got the support of my partner and my family have been great. Most of my worries have disappeared. My worry now is that I've already gained a lot of weight? Is this normal for 7 weeks or would this be a result of the medical issues? I'm usually quite small and lean, but I've gained so much weight on my inner thighs, bum and belly. I feel soft and flabby and I hate it, and of course my mind has latched onto this and I keep thinking of how awful my body is now. I've also gone up 2 cup sizes...Is this normal? Will I lose the weight after the temination?I know this is such a pathetic thing to focus on, but it's all I seem to be thinking about lately :/ Reply to this Question Share |

perfectly normal for the swollen breasts, and feeling swollen all over. Within the first 6weeks of my pregnancies my boobs went up a massive amount. I went from a b cup to a dd overnight it felt like!
I obviously dont know your medical history, but could the reason for the termination also make you more susceptible to weight gain?
Will be thinking of you x

Yes it's normal. At the beginning of pregnancy there are mega amounts of hormones racing around preparing your body for pregnancy, birth and breastfeeding. It will all settle down and you will bounce back. Eat healthly and get some exercise and you'll be back to your old self in no time.
All the best with the termination. You will be ok!
