During our two week honeymoon we had a lot of sex. About foir days in to the honeymoon, my wife and I were having sex and I started to ejaculate. Whilst I was ejaculating I got a massive pain at the base of my skull. The next couple of times it happened again but thankfully stopped. I've started to get pains at the base of my skull at random intervals now. I'm a bit worried. Have I just strained myself? Will it go away?

Get checked immediately! Any severe pain in the cranium is a big red flag. Maybe its nothing and I hope it is but you dont want to make a mistake here.
Just to help you understand the magnitude: I worked in a radiology department many years ago and saw a case where a mid 30's woman had bleed in her cranium. She was given a 50/50 chance for survival when she came in. It was very traumatic because her kids and husband were with her too. She survived but it was unbelievably close.
Take it easy and slow and see your doc ASAP!

I've never heard of this before, but just out of curiosity is it your muscles in your neck at the base of your skull or is it a pain that's further in? I'd be a little worried if it's not knots or muscles straining--you might want to get that checked out. Usually you know if it's the muscles in your kneck because you'll also get tension headaches and that's not something to worry about so much, you can help ease those with stretching your neck, heat, and a massage.
