could be normal expecially if you still have irregular periods... fwiw mine were always irregular until after I had children and later had my tubes tied... in other words I was irregular till I was in my 30s...
to be honest, if you are concerned about something medical you should talk to your Gyn.

I have had irregular periods all my life....so I am very familiar with your concern. I too, got my period at 13 in November & did not get another. Until march of the next year.
Okay....now....this really depends on what's going on in your life. Has your sexually activity changed? If you go without sex for a while, then you have a new partner....your cycle will be very spotty.
Are you stressed? Are you working out more? Are you taking birth control? All these factors will also make a difference in your menstral.
It is wise to still go & see your gyne....just to rule out tumors, cyst or anything else.

Some women have periods that are always irregular. If they seem totally haywire, you should make an appointment with a gynecologist to check that everything is alright hormone-wise.

Our menstural cycles can be effected by a whole range of things;
Food we eat
Intake of fluid
Stress
Sleep
Frequence of sex
Exercise
Change of diet
Nutrients in our body
This sounds quite normal to me, it has happened to me on several occasions. The only way you can get more answers is by going to see your GP, schedule and appointment if you are still concerned.

If it is just a bit spotty, that's not so bad. But you should really visit your doctor and get this checked out for your own peace of mind.
