He was not exactly thrilled when he saw the blood - it was kind of gross... Is it just a coincidence that there was "break through bleeding" while we were having sex, or does having sex cause the bleeding? What should I do? I don't exactly want to lose my sex life over this pill that is supposed to help me... I can't go off of it either, because it is helping me with my menstural cramps.

Calm down don't worry, the bleeding is probably due to having sex, i had it. It is unlikely the pill caused it, you shouldn't worry too much about it but if it keeps happening after sex then go see a doctor. But don't worry, it is unlikely you would have to come off the pill.

Some girls bleed after there first time, but i am on the pill and this has never happended, although all out bodys are diffrent. I would still get a doctors or nurses appointment. See if it happens again next time you have sex, but i still wouldnt pass it off as unimportant. You can never be to safe. When i first started the pill, i used to check on a website to make sure everything was in order or if i was confused. You should be able to find a website for the pill you are on by searching on google. Also, read the information booklet that comes in the pill box. It may say something about it in there.

Hello
You don't say how much blood it was but I'm sure it seemed more than it was.
Going on the pill effects your hormones and menstrual cycle and it takes a couple of months or so for your body to get used to the changes.
Unless he was really forceful with you I wouldn't worry too much I would think it was just your body changing with the pill.
However if this does happen again after you have had sex, make an appointment with your doctor or nurse and just get checked out.
