He says that our daughters hair that gets everywhere including our brushes in our room, has got caught in his clothes and worked its way down there. And that this is a common occurrence. I know this happens with babies sometimes. Is this something that can happen, or is it complete rubbish and he is having an affair? There are no other indications he is having an affair. Please help me look objectively at this situation. Thank you.

I saw this as I was fetching him from work, there's a woman with the same hair colour standing behind me as I kiss my husband hello, suddebly the woman disappears.I thought she stood there because she wanted to talk....but clearly she could no longer. Unfortunately I asked my husband whose hair that was, boy did he scream.Am I naive?

If you see it again just talk to him and make it clear you are worried.

Well I'm a woman.
I used to have very large (130 pounds) long haired double coated dogs.
I would find their hair in intimate places and trust me I never got intimate with my dogs... Heck i never got NAKED with them in the room
I would find their hair at work... and trust me they never came to work.
Hair is one of those insidious things... it clings... it travels... it goes every where.

Ive had this same exact thing happen to me, but I wasnt cheating in the least. To this day, I have no idea where the hair came from. Could be from a lot of places, but it is nothing more than some poor circumstantial evidence. If you suspect something because of other factors, then maybe, but that in itself? Let it go.

Stray hairs are much more likely to end up on your outer garments, not inside the underwear, let alone wrapped around that particular part of his anatomy and no where else!!No, this isn't a plausible explanation. It's possible but too far fetched to be realistic. I would be vigilant for other signs of an affair. Since he claims this is a common occurrence, you need to check if your daughter's hair ends up on a lot of your own clothes too. It would be highly unlikely if you never got any of your daughter's hair on your clothes yet your husband somehow "commonly" gets her hairs inside his undergarments as his explanation for why there's a strange hair there.

While if this is the ONLY thing that makes you think he is cheating, then it may be just one of those unexplainable weird things... nevertheless, just in case, I'd keep my eyes open. This is very strange , and it's not really true that hair gets everywhere . On coat lapels or sleeves , perhaps.. or couchs and armchairs...... but how the heck would a stray hair wind his way inside your underwear around your genitalia ?

Here's my objective assessment:
YOU detected a hair somewhere on your man where it would be unlikely to find a stray hair.... especially one that appears to not be YOUR's!!!!!
HE had a ready story.... perhaps "too ready".... as a great "explanation" for it....
You want desparately to believe him....
Once you believe him THIS TIME he will be bolder (but somewhat more careful!) in the future....
If you were my Sister, I'd tell you to assume that he IS cheating... and to keep your "guard on"
Good luck...

Weird hairs get into weird places, leave him alone about it. I had something similar (not my penis) happen and I don't know where in the world it came from. Fortunately my wife trusts me so it was more of a curiosity than anything.

IS this the only thing that gives you the idea he is cheating or is there more to his behavior? You said there are no other indicators, but you MUST have some reason to go straight to cheating when you see an unfamiliar hair there.
Judging JUST by a strand of hair on his penis, I can't say if he is cheating.

I found a long blonde hair once in my own pubic area, I have no idea whose hair it is. Still have no idea.
I don't think it means anything.

I myself, personally do not think that your husband is having an affair based on that alone. I also found hair wrapped around mine and still to this day, have no answer to who`s it was or how it got there. It was at a time when I was single and not active.

The long black hair in my bed was quite a shock to my girlfriend since we are both blonde.
When she asked me about it I was puzzled too, until I remembered my cleaner has long black hair.

You must have some other issues going on/doubts in your relationship if you're thinking like that regarding a hair.

A

Hi
You have great eyesight. If there are no other indications he is having an affair I would accept his word, definately.
You will now be more alert to his behaviour so if he is cheating, which I doubt very much, you will pick up on signs

Does it match your daughters hair?
Are there other signs he is having an affair? Has his behaviour changed?
By itself it's not a clear sign of anything. But as one of many signs it might be.
