 I think it's a great idea. Really personalize it by writing him a super romantic note on the back of the frame, or a poem or the lyrics to a song that reminds you of him.

 Yeah its a good idea, sometimes simple personal things like that we like better then stuff you can buy. But some guys wouldnt like it if there very materialistic. But yeah that seems like a good gift to me.Good Luck
