writes:I wonder if there is any chance , that there is such a thing as curse or karma?I try to live this life ,with the best intentions, yet everything falls apart on me.I thought, you make your own luck. It really does not happen in my life.I was never asking for things I didn't deserve ,but when you work hard, and the bad stuff never stops, you don't know what to think. reader, anonymous, writes (12 February 2008): Hello, thanks for your input on my problem.I think,nobody can force anybody to believe in God.It is given by your upbringing, or your personal experiences.I'm a very ,very logical person myself. I never had any supernatural beliefs. It is my own experience, what gives me,that dilemma.What is ,that I don't seem to understand ,that statement ,that you make your own life, good or bad.I know you would question me, why do I think ,that my life is not based on my choices .I might be wrong, but believe me,in every area in my life ,I have such a tragedies, that I can't even tell about them. All I can say, they were happenings, not something I created. I really think, it was pure chance, most time. Just an example, if you drive too fast , you will get a speeding ticket. See I know what cause an effect means. But this is not what I do. I do most of the time what they say, its the right thing, yet, wow, I just get no results. My friends thinks its weird...Nobody really knows.. While I'm writing this, my best challenge is on the way.. Have a nice day for me. Thanks for all.

 I don't believe myself in curses or karma..I am a Christian and believe in God Almighty. I believe all things good or bad are sent from above, however, it's what we do with the situation, our choice with it, that determines the outcome. Sometimes, it feels as if we are under a cloud of rain forever it seems...and that forever doesn't seem to go away. When this happens, it's probably a good time to evaluate the situation, maybe there was another, or even better choice that could have been made. I don't know what your situation is, however, I am sure that no matter what it is, there can always be a turn around. Another thing to think about....if you always believe that bad luck is upon you, how will you ever let the good luck in? Start thinking today...not only is it a good day, but things will get even better tomorrow. Believe in the good, and throw out the bad. When we think negative, it seems to follow us, but if we think positive and act positive things can and will happen in our lives that will be a blessing. It also wouldn't hurt to pray, and ask your higher power for wisdom in all situations.

Some believe in karma and some don't. I would say in reality there is always an element of chance to how our lives play out. Doing everything right unfortunately doesn't mean everything will got perfectly. All we can do is do our best and hope for the best. I hope things improve for you soon.

it was recommended to me by someone on here a while ago and i recommend it to everyone who is in a situation similar to yours. it really works and if you google it there are literally thousands of people who swear by it and had their lives changed by it.

 I am a realist and do not believe in luck or karma,life is the way you make it for yourself,it seems that events in your life are not going as smoothly as you think they should, i do not really know what you mean by was not asking for things you did not deserve.
If your boss did not give you a promotion, because you worked so very hard and hoped to advance in your career, but was let down, that is your bosses fault not yours, you can only do your best and if your employer does not think your best is good enough, then maybe it is time for you to get a better job.
If you are talking about a relationship, then that is a different matter all together,no matter what your problem is, no one can change the out come but yourself, no one promised you before you were born that life would be a bed of roses because it is not.
you really need to look at your life, and discover all your options, you need to make changes in your life, i can not do that for you, only you can do that,you need to look at life in a different frame of mind, weigh up all the pros and cons, what you like and do not like about yourself and your life, and the situation you are in,then if you are not happy, change then for a situation that you would be happier in,you only have this life,and it is up to you, how you want it to want it to be.

 You know, some people just don't believe in curses or karma. And they stand by the belief that everything that happens in their life is supposed to happen and that those happenings are handed down by God. Of course, there are people who believe in curses and karma. Certain cultures believe heavily in curses.
I as a Christian believe everything that happens to me, good or bad, is handed down by God. That the bad is to teach me something, a lesson. The good is a way to reward me for being "good".
However, I will share with you a very interesting concept. I once read a book titled "The Seat of the Soul" in which the author talked about a very interesting subject. He says in his book that the soul is fluid - that it goes from life to life and the soul never dies. He also states that this is why some people have "deja vu" - that feeling that you've seen this thing before.
He also states that the soul is what is responsible for the karma that happens in our lifetime. So if the person occupying that soul at the time does something wrong, someone will have to pay that "karmic debt" whether in his/her lifetime or in another. This is why, he explains, that people who have such bad luck can't really shake it - because your soul is paying its karmic debt and it just happens to be in your lifetime that the debt is being paid. This would be your explanation to why you're having such bad luck or bad karma.

There is such a thing as ghosts also, but only if you believe in them will they have power over you.
Bad luck will seem to constantly haunt you, but perserverence will prevail and you will overcome all of the downfalls you are experienceing.
1) A late friend of mine, lost his entire family, his home, his savings and his health over a period of 17 years.
He once confided in me that he was going to end it all, because he was 'tired' of fighting what he considered a losing battle against all the big Giants. I talked with him for over 3 hours to make him change his mind. 3 weeks later...he won his case! After 17 years of struggle, he became an instant millionaire (360 US million). He did die 11 years after this, but his struggles were over.
2) For years I grew up with no hope! Everything I did was rewarded with heartache and dispair. I didn't have a pot to piss in! But I kept on moving forward and wouldn't let things get me too far down. I finally was able to start my own business...very slow at first, but success finally came after 3 years in business. I'm not super rich, but my company employes 27 men and women and I grossed over 7 million US dollars last year. Keep going against the odds.
