writes:Hi,I'm currently using the Nuvaring for birth control and started spotting this morning. It's brown and only shows up when wiping, which is typical for when I'm at the end of my period, but I'm thinking it could just be old blood since I didn't have a period last month. I switched my ring today in hopes of skipping my period even though it sort of already started. It's a week early, as I wasn't supposed to take out my ring until next week, which is weird. I'm going to see my boyfriend this weekend for the first time in over three weeks and I won't be seeing him for a while after that so obviously, I'd like to be with him without dealing with the mess of my period. Is there any way to stop my period even though I'm already spotting??

 i don't think there is, and i there is it's not a good idea. it's healthier if you just don't use anything and continue just using pads it's easier. you know.
