Is there any physical harm in giving or receiving a golden shower?

A female United States age , anonymous writes:

My husband and I have a great relationship. We have been married 24 years and our only child is on his own now.

We have always been open to "suggestions" as long as it doesn't hurt the other or both physically. We always agreed to try what the other suggests at least once.

Well, the other day my husband totally caught me off guard. He asked me if he could give me a golden shower. I have heard of them, but never thought of it. I told him I would have to think about it.

After thinking about it, I decided I would try it because we made the agreement and the more I think of it, the more excited I get to at least try it.

My question is: Is there any physical harm in giving or receiving a golden shower?

About the only thing that could go wrong is hygience. Some people seem to think that piss is sterile, it isn't. Observe basic hygiene, this is why the shower is a good place, you will naturally clean up right after.

Don't consume it (or at least not in any significant amount), keep it out of your eyes, vagina, ears etc.

One thing to do remember, urinating on someone has negative overtones. It seems more a part of humiliating someone then showing your love. Make sure BOTH of you are okay with this.

There is no harm in it although I would personally never indulge in this - it just doesn't do it for me. I have read in numerous articles about the qualities of urine though - the romans even used it to clean their clothes.

That is a commom practice here in the states. I have never heard of any harm coming from this. Try not to let him urinate into your eyes, because sometimes it stings the eyes. I would try it in the shower first or in a bathroom with ceramic tile on the floor....even outdoors is nice, but don't let the neighbors see you (lol). Enjoy yourselves.

Dr Vendetta agony auntsame as most people ahve said. no harm.

However. i knew of a couple who did and tried everything. and i mean everything.

So. the girl wanted him to giev her a golden shower. now most people know that guys usually don't like stopping mid stream.

well neither did he. so soaked gf and soaked carpet. 2 weeks later they split up.

i guess. the only harm would be self inflicted. just make sure you're both 100% for doing it.

Thanks for the advice. I will either try it in the shower or in our back yard...it's too cold to try it there right now, but if I like it, I will try it! I will let you know how it goes:) In fact I will suprise my husband tonight when he gets home from work, lol!

eyeswideopen agony auntPeaches is right, the only physical harm would be to your carpet, showers work better, unless you have really private backyard.

peaches83 agony auntBasically no. If it is the same as it is in the uk (urinating on each other) then there arnt really any harm that can be done.

Maybe best place to try it first would be in the shower though.

Good luck and have fun .
